Job Summary
Wash and sanitize all dishes, drinkware, and kitchen supplies while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards across meal services. Clean countertops and floors after each shift and strictly comply with food and dish sanitation checklists. Operate all required dishwashing equipment and execute safety procedures while anticipating and solving workplace problems. Work in stressful situations with a team-oriented approach, remaining approachable for guests. Schedule is variable based on guest occupancy, season, and staffing needs; specific weekly hours are not guaranteed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use all dishwashing equipment provided and required in the hotel kitchen
- Ability to understand and execute all required safety procedures
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Variable scheduling availability based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors
