Job Summary
Operate dishwashing machines and hand wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and glassware, ensuring items are cleaned, sanitized, and dried before returning to storage. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including proper disposal of waste and recycling, while assisting kitchen staff with clean equipment as needed. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, report maintenance issues, and follow all health and safety guidelines regarding chemical handling. Participate in regular cleaning tasks, organize supplies, and support team operations. Complete additional duties as assigned by management, including addressing member and guest complaints professionally.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role
- Proficient communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
- Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity
- Must be able to attend weekends and/or holidays
