Job Summary
Dishwasher at IHOP responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the dish area and back-of-house; wash dishes, utensils, and equipment safely and efficiently; clean and reset dining room tables; maintain service stations; complete opening and closing side work; perform additional cleaning tasks as needed; follow food safety and safety rules; able to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods; able to lift and carry items and work around heat and chemicals; participate in tip-share program where applicable; benefits include health insurance for full-time, meal discounts, and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety rules and procedures
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry typical restaurant items (e.g., dish racks, trash bags)
- Ability to work around heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals used in restaurants, with proper safety procedures
- Eligible to participate in the restaurant’s Service Tip Fund / tip share program, where applicable. Tip amounts vary based on business volume and are not guaranteed and are paid separately from base hourly wages.
