Job Summary
Sweep and mop kitchen floors, wash worktables, refrigerators, and meat blocks, and maintain sanitation standards throughout the shift. Segregate and dispose of trash, steam clean garbage cans, and process disposable items using the bottle crushing machine. Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand, scrape food from dishes, and polish silverware using burnishing machines and buffing wheels. This role supports the kitchen team at Embassy Suites Alpharetta, located in North Atlanta's business hub, ensuring a clean environment for food service operations.
Required Qualifications
- Self-starting personality with a steady, even-keeled disposition
- Professional appearance and manner maintained at all times in the kitchen environment
- Physical ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift including lifting, bending, stooping, walking, pushing, and pulling heavy equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work at a consistent production pace throughout the shift
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
