Job Summary
Complete and pass required training modules while maintaining a clean, orderly dish room and kitchen station. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and pots using a dish machine or by hand, ensuring proper sanitizer and water temperature. Break down and sanitize the dish machine at shift end, then sort, stack, and store all equipment in designated areas. Assist with spot cleaning surfaces, sweeping floors, and maintaining the exterior of the building. Partner with cooks, bussers, and managers to support nightly specials and guest flow. Prioritize dishwashing experience and ability to operate a dish machine; work flexible part-time shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Able to operate dish machine to company and manufacturer specifications
- Manual dexterity to quickly load and unload items
- Strong team-work orientation, coupled with the ability to work independently
- Able to work a part-time, flexible schedule that varies according to business need
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand 100% of shift
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Exposure to cleaning solutions
- Frequent exposure to water
- Occasional exposure to heat and cold, inside or out
Desired Qualifications
- Prior dishwashing experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic English communication skills
- Clean and professional appearance
