Job Summary
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils thoroughly while sanitizing equipment, workstations, and dining areas to maintain kitchen cleanliness. Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed, strictly following food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment. Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests to provide excellent customer service while performing other duties as assigned. This role requires a ServSafe or Food Handler certification, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and residency within the service area. Required Qualifications
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds
- Must be able to push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
- Residency within the service area
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks
