Job Summary
Prepare tableware for washing, collect garbage from kitchen and dining areas, and deliver retrieved items to their respective zones. Set up dish washing machines by checking soap and rinse supplies, then scrub and soak heavily encrusted dishes before loading sorted china, glassware, and silverware. Dry and polish glassware with clean towels, clean dish washing equipment and work areas, and thoroughly clean garbage cans with hot soapy water and steam. Sweep and mop the entire kitchen floor, complete opening and closing checklists, and conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure safety and facility standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all kitchen areas as outlined in the F&B Manual.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. frequently
- Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting
- Ability to sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes
- Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues
- Ability to perform basic mathematical skills
- Ability to monitor and develop subordinates
- Ability to visually monitor the operation areas
- Ability to write and read member communication
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience preferred
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good organizational and verbal skills
