Job Summary
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and flatware to ensure their availability. Prepare dining areas and kitchen stations for the next shift by cleaning and restocking. Clean kitchen appliances, including coffee makers and mixers. Unload and store deliveries. Sweep and mop floors, particularly when items are broken or spilled. Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans. Assist other staff members with tasks as needed. AM and PM shifts are available. This role supports the culinary operations at Great Western Dining's Western Iowa Tech location in Sioux City, Iowa.
Required Qualifications
- Minimal work experience
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
- Continuous standing/walking and other means of mobility up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull and frequently lift/move up to 30 pounds
