Job Summary
Dishwasher role within Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited’s Food and Beverage team. As a part-time Dishwasher, you will provide fast and thorough cleaning of all kitchen equipment and utensils, dishware, glassware and pots, and maintain a tidy kitchen area. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and upholding Food Safe standards, organizing and supporting janitorial needs, managing janitorial supplies, and assisting in waste management and recycling. Requires reliability, strong time-management, ability to juggle multiple tasks, and a sense of urgency to contribute to a team-focused environment. Benefits include flexible hours, evenings and weekends, and opportunities for development and training; prior Food Safe Level 1 certification is preferred and Mini Food Safety Course (Alberta) is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience in hospitality or the food and beverage industry preferred
- Food Safe Level 1 (BC) to be completed prior to start date
- Mini Food Safety Course (Alberta) is an asset
