Job Summary
Maintains the kitchen and dishwashing area in a clean, organized, and sanitary manner while following health and cleaning regulations. Washes utensils, silverware, plates, and dishes by hand or machine; cleans cooking equipment; assists hospitality and culinary staff with replenishing food items and supporting service. Collaborates with chefs and staff, supports student workers, and helps ensure equipment and stations remain clean and in good working order. The role includes coordinating basic cleaning tasks, maintaining inventory for cleaning supplies, and contributing to a safe, respectful work environment. The position is part-time and located at Columbus State Community College’s Columbus Campus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year experience in a professional kitchen role
- State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s)
