Job Summary
Clean, sanitize, and store all dishes, flatware, utensils, and kitchenware while properly handling glassware to prevent breakage. Sort dishware to ensure nothing is lost or disposed of, and maintain kitchen pots, pans, and utensils. Empties trash, cleans trash cans, and sweeps, mops, and wipes floors, walls, and drains. Operates all equipment safely, uses chemicals correctly for cost control, and assists with line maintenance and prep. Maintains kitchen storage areas and mats, and supports other staff during shifts. Work days, nights, and weekends in a noisy environment lifting up to 30 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members
- Must be disciplined and self-motivated
- Is dressed in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to Read and write handwritten notes
- Must be able to Work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Must be able to Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- Must be able to Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to Walk or stand 100% of shift
- Must be able to Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred, but not required
