Job Summary
Clean and sanitize all dishes, flatware, utensils, kitchenware, pots, pans, glassware, mats, and kitchen areas while adhering to safety and sanitation policies. Sort dishware to prevent loss, operate equipment safely, and maintain trash cans. Assist with line maintenance, sweeping, clearing dirty dishes, prep items, banquet tasks, and stocking storage areas. Communicate promptly with the supervisor regarding problems and suggest corrective actions. Work days, nights, and weekends in a noisy, fast-paced environment, lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members
- Must be disciplined and self-motivated
- Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Is dressed in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times
- Work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- Read and write handwritten notes
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Walk or stand 100% of shift
- Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred, but not required
