Job Summary
Clean and sanitize all dishes, flatware, utensils, kitchenware, pots, pans, and glassware. Sort dishware to prevent loss, maintain kitchen and dish areas including floors, walls, and drains, and empty trash. Operate equipment safely while adhering to sanitation policies. Assist with line maintenance, sweeping, clearing dirty dishes, pressure point relief, and some prep items. Communicate with guests and staff, maintain a cooperative work climate, and stay informed of problems requiring corrective action. Work days, nights, and weekends in a noisy environment lifting up to 30 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members
- Must be disciplined and self-motivated
- Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Is dressed in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to Read and write handwritten notes
- Must be able to Work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Must be able to Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- Must be able to Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to Walk or stand 100% of shift
- Must be able to Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred, but not required
