Job Summary
Operate dish machines to clean, organize, and store dishes and wares to standard. Assist in general galley operations by receiving, storing, and preparing provisions while stocking supplies in serving stations and buffets. Maintain galley cleanliness through daily equipment cleaning, sanitizing food preparation surfaces, and mopping floors. Receive and store food using proper handling techniques, including stock rotation and temperature monitoring. Ensure dish machines are in proper working order by performing routine cleaning and refilling chemicals. Provide exceptional hospitality to coworkers and guests while maintaining uniform and personal grooming standards. Work extended periods standing, lift heavy items, and be available for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Will work for extended periods without sitting
- The nature of the work may be strenuous, and the work environment may be warm
- Required to lift and move heavy items
- Strong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a high level of organization, detailed oriented and meet deadlines
- Handle multiple tasks/projects at one time
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibility
- Listen effectively, assess the situation, determine relevant issues, & suggest solutions
- Have a working knowledge of computer skills, including but not limited to proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites
- Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to coworkers and guests
- Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards
- Will be required to be available for work nights, weekends and on all major holidays
