Job Summary
Operate dish machine equipment and wash items by hand, then place clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in proper storage areas. Assist on the plate-up and food production line as needed, while sorting trash, composting, and sweeping kitchen and back-of-house floors. Clean spills or breakage on the event floor, maintain organized dock areas, and ensure full compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations. This part-time role at Iowa Events Center requires excellent attendance and availability for scheduled events, with an hourly rate of $19.00 and 401(k) matching benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours.
Desired Qualifications
- Past experience working in a food production kitchen or similar industry preferred.
- Ability to positively interact with diverse personalities, including co-workers and managers in a variety of fast-paced work situations.
