Dishwasher - Casual

Dishwasher position at Cogir Senior Living reporting to the Culinary Manager. Responsible for loading, operating and emptying the dishwasher, keeping the kitchen area and equipment clean, damp-mopping floors, and assisting with cleaning of other kitchen devices. Supports resident care by maintaining cleanliness, following food handling procedures, attending in-service training, participating in staff meetings, and upholding the organization’s ethics and resident rights. Requires empathy with elderly residents, ability to read/write English, and a current or willing-to-obtain Vulnerable Sector Check. Also participates in the Quality Improvement Program and works as part of a team in a care-focused senior living environment.
