Job Summary
Clear and reset tables, clean dining areas, and wash all dishes, pots, utensils, and glassware per Standard Operating Procedures. Pick up, sort, and wash china, silverware, and equipment; stock and rotate supplies in service areas. Check restrooms hourly for supply levels and cleanliness. Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, IHOP Safety Manual, and SOP health guidelines. Dispose of trash properly and maintain uniform standards. Perform other assignments as directed by management. No prior experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to understand oral instructions in English
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-step or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Successfully complete IHOP training course work as assigned
- Regularly required to stand and walk
- Frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Reach with hands and arms
- Frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Frequently must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
