Job Summary
Conduct kitchen sanitation and cleaning, operating dish machines, sweeping, mopping floors, and sanitizing equipment to ensure food preparation tools are safe and ready for use. Store and handle food and equipment according to health and safety standards while assisting cooks with non-food preparation tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure kitchen and dish room environment. Stock food following deliveries and prioritize resident satisfaction in all interactions. Work part-time shifts from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with possible weekend or holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments
- Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations
- Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Must complete a State and Federal criminal background check
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass a job related physical
- Must pass a TB test
