Job Summary
Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition by washing, sanitizing, and storing all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans. Sweep and mop floors, empty trash, and clean dish machines to ensure proper sanitizing temperatures and parts per million levels. Adhere to cleaning schedules, assist with food and supply transportation, and support cooks and wait staff during special events, banquets, and theme meals. Provide high-level customer service while promoting a restaurant-style dining atmosphere. Submit and complete a criminal background check and provide annual medical certification confirming freedom from communicable diseases.
Required Qualifications
- Must be trained and experienced in Food Service Sanitation as it relates to the proper cleaning and sanitation of kitchen appliances and dishware.
- Must have submitted and completed a Criminal Background check for unlicensed employees in compliance with state regulation.
- Must provide a medical certification from a licensed healthcare provider confirming that the employee is free from communicable disease including TB in compliance with state regulation at hire and annually thereafter.
- Physically able to move at least 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Physically able to bend, reach, and work in small areas.
- Physically able to push and pull equipment and furnishings.
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time.
