Job Summary
Maintain residents' health and well-being by ensuring dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas are clean, safe, and sanitary at all times. Clean dishes, pots, glassware, and cutlery following established sanitation procedures, including the 3-sink method for pot washing. Clean kitchen spaces, including mopping entire floors, and assume cleaning tasks as per site schedules. Receive, uncrat, and put away supplier deliveries as required. Alert team leaders to problems and make recommendations about corrective action. Perform other duties as assigned in this fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 10 minimum education
- Smart Serve designation
- one year experience in dining room service
- Proven customer service skills
- excellent command of verbal and written English language
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check
- legally eligible to work in Canada
- valid work/study permit
- You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
