Job Summary
Clean dishes, pots, glassware, and cutlery following established sanitation procedures, including the 3-sink method for pot washing. Maintain resident health and well-being by ensuring kitchen equipment, work areas, and floors are clean, safe, and sanitary. Perform assigned cleaning duties, receive and put away supplier deliveries, and alert the team leader to problems requiring corrective action. Requires Grade 10 education, Smart Serve designation, one year dining room service experience, and a valid work permit. Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 10 minimum education
- Smart Serve designation
- one year experience in dining room service
- Proven customer service skills
- excellent command of verbal and written English language
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check
- legally eligible to work in Canada
- valid work/study permit
- You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
