Job Summary
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand, ensuring all items are put away clean, dry, and grease-free in organized storage. Transfer supplies and equipment between areas, clean garbage cans with proper MSDS supplies, and maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly condition. Sweep, scrub, and mop floors while ensuring no standing water exists at any time. Refill paper towels and soap at every handwashing sink and perform weekly deep cleaning of ice machines alongside daily spot cleaning. This role requires 2+ years of experience, basic English proficiency, and the ability to lift 50 lbs while standing for 8+ hours.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years + experience as dishwasher/porter at a comparable restaurant or hotel
- basic understanding of the English language
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to stay on your feet for 8 hours plus
- basic knowledge of sanitation procedures
