Job Summary
Dishwasher and Utility Worker - Part Time. The role involves washing dishes and maintaining a clean and sanitary dining hall and kitchen, operating a commercial dishwasher and pot/pan sink, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and performing custodial duties in dining areas. Responsibilities include stocking service areas, assisting with meal service setup, and supporting other areas of the dining hall as needed. Requires 12th grade or equivalent and 3–12 months’ experience with commercial dishwashing equipment; ability to meet schedules, follow instructions, communicate well, and work cooperatively; and ability to handle physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods) with adherence to safety procedures. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered ($500 at hire and $500 after 90 days).
Required Qualifications
- Completion of 12th grade or equivalent.
- 3 – 12 months experience with the operation of commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Ability to meet schedules and time lines.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
