Job Summary
Perform general cleaning and sanitation in accordance with DOH regulations, keeping floors dry and free of debris. Wash pots and dishes while putting away food according to HACCP guidelines. Complete all required training and in-services, maintaining high standards for work areas, attitude, and appearance. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, adapting to frequent schedule changes and possible overtime. Occasional off-site meetings may occur. Moderate physical and emotional stress is associated with the role, involving exposure to wet, humid conditions, fumes, dust, and toxic chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Basic computer skills
- Able to write legibly
- Takes oral and written instruction well
- Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the elderly or geriatric population
