Job Summary
Conduct cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage storage, preparation, and service areas, ensuring spotless, sanitary glassware, silverware, cookware, and serving utensils. Operate dishwashing equipment and handle chemicals while adhering to OSHA and safety regulations. Perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy lifting and sustained motion throughout the shift. Maintain composure when addressing guest feedback or complaints while multitasking to meet deadlines. Requires flexible scheduling and ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen (18) or older
- The ability to be on feet and in motion for majority of shift required
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy amount of weight
- Basic knowledge of dishwashing equipment operation and chemicals necessary
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Required; mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Required; effective oral and written communication skills in order to interact with all employee levels and guests within the hotel
- Required; Ability to multi task, prioritize and handle conflicting demands
- Required; Flexible with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing priorities and situations
- Required; Sold under pressure, professional and able to maintain composure in handing complaints and other feedback
- Required; Ability to meet deadlines without compromise
Desired Qualifications
- 1 Year hotel experience preferred
