Job Summary
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and maintain oncology disease area strategies reflecting near and long-term pipeline evolution. Provide global strategic guidance and commercial inputs for Target Product Profiles and Clinical Development Plans until PivGo or LCL assignment. Partner with R&D units to align organizational understanding of future disease context and ensure asset strategies reflect value to patients and society. Represent the Global Pharma Strategy team in external landscape assessments, due diligence support, and path-to-value evaluations for portfolio assets. Drive the integrated development and commercialization planning process to bring affiliate inputs into strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of scientific and commercial understanding of Oncology Therapeutic area
- MBA, MD, PhD or other relevant Graduate or Postgraduate Degree
- Outstanding VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst and Coach) leadership skills
- Exceptional strategic orientation and agility
- Proven abilities to lead, collaborate and deliver in a complex and matrix environment
- Extensive experience in development and implementation of commercialization strategies
- Deep understanding of global health systems and access/reimbursement challenges
- Product life-cycle planning and management
- Fluent written and verbal English
- The preferred location for this position is South San Francisco, CA, however we will consider Basel as a location
