Job Summary
Discovery Paralegal Specialist to support the Department of Justice and guide our customers through the complexities of eDiscovery. The role involves legal document reviews using eDiscovery platforms, performing privilege and responsiveness reviews, applying redactions, coordinating with subject-matter experts and attorneys, and providing timely status updates to stakeholders. Proficiency with platforms such as Relativity, EverLaw, Arctera, Exterro, DISCO, and Reveal, plus strong MS Office and research/drafting skills (Westlaw, Pacer) are required. A Paralegal Studies Certificate is required; candidates should have 2+ years of paralegal experience in discovery/eDiscovery and be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret security clearance. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range of $65,000–$108,000 per year. The role is based in Washington, DC, with on-site expectations (IN_PERSON). The successful candidate will work closely with leading eDiscovery counsel and IT support to ensure data is discoverable and compliant across DOJ and other government agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of paralegal experience including Discovery/eDiscovery with platforms such as Relativity, EverLaw, Arctera, Exterro, DISCO, Reveal, Nextpoint
- Experience performing privilege and other substantive reviews on litigation support projects
- Working knowledge of eDiscovery review platforms (Relativity, EverLaw, Arctera eDiscovery Platform) and redaction of sensitive information
- Proven ability to provide professional, accurate, timely, and reliable support to multiple stakeholders including Assistant General Counsels
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred (nice to have)
- Paralegal Studies Certificate
