Job Summary
Discovery Imaging Sales Specialist responsible for selling Imaging Systems and related Western Blotting and instrument applications (e.g., Amersham IQ800, Typhoon) within the Boston/Cambridge metro area, with a fully remote work arrangement. Requires strong product knowledge, customer training and demonstrations, opportunity development, territory planning, forecast accuracy (SFDC), and building relationships with decision-makers; travel within the territory is expected. Education in Life/Physical Sciences with BS (MS/PhD preferred) and 4+ years of commercial sales experience are required. The role includes achieving sales targets, creating quarterly business plans, and collaborating with Field Marketing and Field Application Scientist teams; salary range $105,000–$120,000 plus bonus/incentives and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree or equivalent years of experience in Life/Physical Sciences
- 4+ years of commercial sales experience or transition from the laboratory/technical support/field applications support and/or marketing
- Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic territory
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
