Job Summary
Prepare and issue initial and re-disclosure mortgage documents accurately within required timeframes. Review loan information in Encompass for accuracy, applying TRID and RESPA requirements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines. Monitor daily reports to confirm timely disclosures and document causes of changes in circumstance when collaborating with Sales, Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and the Lock Desk. Communicate with production teams for corrections and maintain accurate records for audit and quality-control reviews. This role supports an efficient mortgage loan process remotely or on a hybrid basis near Reston, Virginia. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience working on a mortgage disclosure desk or in a similar mortgage operations position.
- Working knowledge of TRID and RESPA disclosure requirements.
- Functional knowledge of Conventional and FHA loan guidelines and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency with Encompass and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer-service, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize competing deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision while collaborating effectively across departments.
- Ability to handle confidential borrower and loan information with discretion.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with VA or non-prime mortgage products.
- Additional coursework or training in mortgage lending or related financial products.
- Previous experience working directly with borrowers, internal production teams, or investors.
