Job Summary
Disbursement Coordinator for the RPHP Program responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports and budgets, reconciling accounts, QA support, and assisting with audit preparation. Supports the Finance Department by preparing month-end invoices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Requires an AA or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 1–3 years of experience with public funding, proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office, and Google Sheets/Docs, and strong communication and organizational skills. Experience with CES Programs, HMIS, and EXYM is a plus; experience with homeless individuals and community-based organizations is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- AA level or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience with public funding contacts including Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, Department of Health Services, etc.
- Experience in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Google Sheets/Docs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and a part of a team
- Experience in social work or related field preferred (but not required)
- Knowledge of CES Programs, HMIS, and EXYM is a plus
- Experience working with homeless individuals and/or community-based organization
