Disaster Recovery Case Manager (Tampa)

Job Summary
Conduct in-depth screenings, initial damage assessments, and monitor client needs to develop recovery plans addressing un-met disaster requirements. Establish relationships with clients and service providers to gather weekly progress updates while sharing resources for self-advocacy. Enter client data into a secure database, maintaining current notes and communication records. Maintain professional relationships with organizations, families, and service providers. Work under pressure to meet deadlines while following Standard Operating Procedures. Attend required training. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Suite, effective verbal/written communication, and experience with multicultural coalition groups.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions as stated in Standard Operating Procedures
- Knowledge and experience in dealing with multicultural, interfaith coalition groups
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite to Include Outlook, Adobe and Excel and overall computer technology
- Ability to solve problems independently, effectively, and creatively
