Job Summary
Disaster Case Manager Supervisor collaborates with disaster-affected individuals to navigate recovery, conducts intake assessments, develops individualized recovery plans, connects survivors with federal/state/local nonprofit resources, advocates to remove barriers, coordinates with government agencies and community partners, maintains confidential case files, and participates in staffing, training, and quality assurance. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, knowledge of case management principles, and familiarity with disaster recovery resources are required; bilingual or multilingual capabilities and trauma-informed care training are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Emergency Management, Public Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in case management, social services, disaster recovery, housing assistance, behavioral health, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
