Job Summary
Program Manager (Team Leader) based in Osborne Park, Perth metropolitan area, leading multiple care staff teams in aged and disability support. Delivers programs in line with budgets and business plans, ensuring compliance with legislation, trauma-informed practice, contractual requirements, and internal policies. Responsibilities include guiding and mentoring staff, managing caseloads, handling on-call afterhours coverage, and maintaining person-centered, flexible care with a balance of business and operational needs. Requires experience in residential care, disability, mental health, or youth services, strong leadership or supervisory background, and ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. Probity checks (National Criminal History, Working with Children, and NDIS Worker Screening) are required. Secondment opportunity to backfill parental leave; offers competitive salary and on-call allowance.
Required Qualifications
- A qualification in Human Services or similar
- Experience in residential care, youth work, disability, mental health, or community services
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a care environment
- Understanding of trauma-informed, permanency-focused, and therapeutic case plans
- Knowledge of child development, complex behaviours, and community services practice
- Experience in crisis intervention and management
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies
- Probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
