Job Summary
Lead, mentor, and manage support teams in line with ISA values while ensuring program delivery aligns with budgets, legislation, and trauma-informed practices. Oversee a caseload and staff, modeling flexible, person-centered leadership that balances business needs with client choice and control. Manage competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and maintain professional boundaries while supporting individuals with complex mental health, behavioral, and health-related needs. Work within an afterhours on-call roster in Kununurra.
Required Qualifications
- A qualification in Human Services or similar
- Experience in residential care, youth work, disability, mental health, or community services
- Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards
- Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic, high-volume work environment
- Demonstrated ability to support productive working relationships and manage staff
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies
- Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally you will have had experience providing direct care
- Experience in providing exceptional care to People with Disability
- Experience supporting people with complex and diverse needs
- Complex Mental Health needs (Psychosocial Disability, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Schizophrenia)
- Health related support needs such as Diabetes, Wound Care and Asthma
- Behaviours of Concern
- Restrictive Practices
