Disability Support Worker - (Woody Point and surrounding suburbs)

Disability Support Worker (Casual) in Brisbane area providing person-centered support to NDIS participants. Role involves assisting with personal care, community access, and daily routines, in participants’ homes or SIL/SDA settings. Manage complex needs including behaviours of concern and high clinical needs; administer medications and follow health support plans; implement behaviour support plans and use de-escalation techniques; collaborate with clinicians, case workers, and families to enhance participants’ independence and quality of life. Requires minimum 6 months’ experience in disability, aged care, mental health, or related fields; Certificate III/IV/Individual Support, Aged Care, or similar (preferred); demonstrated experience with high physical/clinical needs including medication administration; strong communication skills; ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, Driver’s Licence, and insured vehicle.
