Disability Support Worker - Team Leader - Ormiston

Disability Support Team Leader role in Ormiston, AU within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting. Lead and supervise Disability Support Professionals, provide coaching and staff development, manage shift handovers, recruitment and onboarding, and foster a participant-centred workplace. Oversee delivery of person-centred supports aligned with participant goals, monitoring progress and implementing Behaviour Support Plans; ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, quality audits, incident reporting, and documentation. Manage staffing to meet participant needs, support workforce planning, and coordinate with Support Coordinators and external stakeholders. Handle day-to-day household operations, budgeting, medication administration processes, scheduling of appointments and community access, and rostering. Required qualifications include a Diploma or higher in related fields, Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or equivalent, and current certifications (First Aid/CPR, NDIS checks, Working with Children where applicable). Desirable qualifications include further leadership, Positive Behaviour Support, and medication administration training. Flexible to rotating rosters, weekends, public holidays, sleepover shifts, and on-call responsibilities.
