Job Summary
Provide person-centred support to help participants live safely, independently, and actively within the community. Duties include personal care, daily living assistance, meal preparation, medication support, and transport to appointments. Assist with community access, social activities, and behaviours of concern while following individual support plans and NDIS goals. Complete accurate progress notes and documentation while maintaining professional boundaries. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, and public holidays. A Certificate III in Individual Support, 12 months' experience, and current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid/CPR are required. A valid driver's licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support or a relevant higher qualification
- At least 12 months' experience in a similar role
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current employee Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Valid Australian driver licence
- Access to a registered and insured vehicle
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
