Job Summary
Provide person-centred support to assist participants with personal care, daily living activities, catheter care, bowel management, and safe manual handling. Support individuals with behaviours of concern while following individual support plans and NDIS goals. Maintain professional boundaries and complete accurate documentation and progress notes. Available Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 11:00 am and Saturday and Sunday 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Requires Certificate III in Individual Support, 12 months' experience, current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a valid Australian driver's licence. Access to a registered, insured, low-to-the-ground vehicle suitable for safe entry and exit is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support or a higher relevant qualification
- At least 12 months' experience in a similar disability support role
- Experience providing personal care
- Experience with catheter care and bowel management
- Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern
- Knowledge of safe manual handling practices
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A current employee Working with Children Check
- A valid Australian driver licence
- Access to a registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
- The vehicle must be lower to the ground and suitable for safe entry and exit
