Job Summary
Provide 1:1 community access support for a young gentleman, assisting him to attend appointments, visit cafés, go shopping, and participate in local activities. Encourage independence and confidence while offering friendly companionship and conversation to help the participant achieve their NDIS goals. This low-intensity role prioritizes building genuine rapport and reliable support within a relaxed, nurse-led environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active ABN (or willingness to obtain one)
- Australian working rights
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for community access
