Job Summary
Conduct person-centred support for individuals with disabilities in their own homes or supported accommodation, delivering personal care, domestic assistance, and community access. Transport participants to appointments, shopping, and school activities when required, with travel time and vehicle usage reimbursed. Manage your own schedule and select specific service types to offer while maintaining a nurse-led safety net via an on-call team. Maintain current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid, and CPR certifications. This contractual role allows flexibility for breaks and holidays within Brisbane, QLD.
Required Qualifications
- A registered ABN
- Proof of working rights in Australia (e.g., Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or relevant visa)
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) - current and valid
- Current Police Check (issued within the last 3 years)
- Valid First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
- CPR (within 1 year)
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module - 'Quality, Safety and You'
- Contractual (sole trader/ABN) basis
- Availability for shifts across various times, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, nights, and public holidays
- Ability to transport participants to community activities (appointments, shopping, school, etc.)
