Job Summary
Assist participants with personal care, grooming, dressing, hygiene, meal preparation, and light household tasks in their homes. Accompany individuals into the community for shopping, appointments, errands, and social activities such as visiting cafés, parks, libraries, or sporting events. Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to promote independence and achieve NDIS goals. Select shifts and participants to suit your lifestyle while maintaining reliable, person-centred care.
Required Qualifications
- An active ABN (or willingness to obtain one)
- Australian working rights
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
Desired Qualifications
- A current driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle (preferred for community access roles)
