Disability Support Worker - Casual

Job Summary

Deliver personalised care and foster a supportive environment for individuals with disabilities while collaborating with professionals to enhance client well-being. Provide tailored assistance addressing physical and behavioural needs, ensuring each client receives the care and attention they require. Work one-to-one and within group settings in a 24/7 shift roster that includes weekends and leave coverage. Maintain a safe and stable home environment through strong communication, patience, and determination to help clients achieve their personal best.

Required Qualifications

  • A current provisional or full Australian driver's licence
  • A valid WWVP card with NDIS activities
  • First Aid Certificate from a Nationally Recognised Training Organisation
  • A strong background in providing support to individuals with complex behaviours
  • A strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals requiring specialised support
  • A strong commitment to ongoing professional development
  • The flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of clients
  • Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • possess a NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate of completion
