Job Summary
Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks while promoting independence and community participation. Provide companionship, emotional support, and mobility assistance, and administer medication while monitoring health conditions. Develop and follow individualized support and care plans, maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout. Ensure dignity and respect remain central to all care interactions. Requires Certificate III or above, NDIS Framework knowledge, valid driver's licence, and mandatory First Aid, CPR, and worker screening checks. Required Qualifications
- Certificate III (or above) in Disability Support or a related field
- Knowledge of the NDIS Framework and Practice Standards
- Understanding of disability rights and advocacy
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Valid rights to work in Australia
