Job Summary
Provide respectful support for adults in CPA group homes, covering personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines. Encourage skill-building and independence while following person-centred plans with empathy. Facilitate community engagement, social connection, and transport using CPA vans or personal vehicles. Build positive relationships with clients to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Requires availability across early mornings, day shifts, afternoons, evenings, and overnight rotations. Candidates need a NSW Driver's Licence, physical capability for transfers, and a can-do attitude.
Required Qualifications
- NSW Driver's Licence (P2 or above)
- Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers
- Availability across a variety of shift times, including: Early mornings (6am - 9am), Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm), Afternoons & evenings, Awake overnights (10pm-6am)
- Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience
- A can-do attitude and growth mindset — you're open to learning and ready to make a difference
- Client-focused in their approach to care
- Passion for making an impact in the lives of people with disabilities
- High level of physical functionality
