Job Summary
Disability Application Specialist role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and development activities, including daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, devotions, and Sunday Chapel. Initially working a 9-on/3-off schedule across multiple homes, with eventual placement into a single student home. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and both spouses to complete individual applications; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses aged 27 or older.
Required Qualifications

- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
