Job Summary
Two-person married couple will reside in on-campus student homes as Flex Houseparents, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for approximately 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, guiding devotions and Chapel visits, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent with a consistent student-home assignment. The role follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits, including relocation assistance, medical/dental/vision coverage, and retirement options.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Able to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Willingness to reside on-campus in student homes
- Experience working with youth or volunteering with youth
