Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparent role on Milton Hershey School’s on-campus student homes. Couples reside with groups of approximately 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care including medication administration, transportation to activities, and planning developmental/recreational activities. Responsibilities span overseeing routines, budgeting/reporting for the household, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The position includes a nine-on, three-off duty cycle during initial placement, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Benefits include base salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive health benefits, retirement, and paid time off. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must apply
- Marital status: legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
