Job Summary
Disability Application Specialist role description mistakenly labeled as two-person Flex Houseparents; position involves on-campus live-in care and supervision of 8–13 students in a student home, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting. Initially nine days on duty followed by three off, with eventual placement as a consistent houseparent in a dedicated student home. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. For consideration, both spouses must submit individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Two-person role for couples
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
