Job Summary
Disability Advocacy Program (DAP) Program Coordinator at Empire Justice Center. Core duties include managing data collection and reporting systems, coordinating in-person and remote meetings and legal trainings, maintaining the DAP portal/website, and supporting the production/design of a quarterly newsletter (including project management, design, and electronic distribution). Role emphasizes flexible 35-hour full-time work week, travel as needed, and collaboration with statewide teams; responsibilities also cover logistical planning for trainings, budgeting-related administrative tasks, and supporting communications across Marketing, Communications, Policy, and Operations teams. Requires ability to work with diverse communities and supervise other practice group members when needed. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and basic Canva/WordPress skills are preferred; prior experience in data collection, reporting, and training material development is requested, with travel required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in data collection, analysis, and/or project coordination
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
- Ability to develop and maintain efficient data collection systems and processes
- Experience coordinating logistics for meetings and trainings (in-person and webinars)
- Experience with document and form creation, report writing, and data pulling
- Comfort working with marginalized communities
