Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering independence while ensuring health and safety needs are met. Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in daily life activities. Transport individuals between homes and the Day Program via a passenger van, including participation in community outings. Deliver personal care assistance. Maintain a valid Ohio driver's license with fewer than six points on your motor vehicle record. Push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks requiring climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Fewer than 6 points in the last three years on your motor vehicle record
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs
- Can climb, balance, kneel and crouch
